Pricica receives funding for screenplay development

Pricica by screenwriter Laura van Dijk and director Mischa Kamp received funding from the Dutch Film Fund for screenplay development. Laura previously wrote several short films and the enchanting movie Free (2014) as part of the One Night Stand series. Mischa successfully directed TV movie Boys (2014), Tony 10 (2012) and Lellebelle (2010).

Pricica is about Roza, a charming and quirky, Dutch girl who falls head over heels in love with Bosnian refugee Zlatko. Her world falls apart when he suddenly disappears. She leaves her safe surroundings and goes on a quest, on which she will be confronted with the dark sides of his war past.
