SPEAK NO EVIL (previously BENELUX) RECEIVES FUNDING FOR INCENTIVE

Speak No Evil (previously Benelux) by director Christian Tafdrup, written by Christian and Mads Tafdrup, received Film Production Incentive by the Netherlands Film Fund. Speak No Evil is a feature film by the Danish production company Profile Pictures and we are proud to be its co-producer. In March 2020 we will start shooting the film.

Christian previously made short film Awakenings which won awards on festival such as Palm Springs and Warsaw. His first feature Parents won the Grand Jury Award in Tribeca, while his second feature A Horrible Woman screened on festivals all over the world and at the same time was a hit in Danish cinema’s with over 200,000 visitors.

Speak No Evil is about a Danish family who befriends a family from the Netherlands. But when they come to visit their new friends one weekend something doesn’t seem to be quite right. Dutch actors Fedja van Huêt and Karina Smulders will play two of the leading roles.
