De Director of Photography is de Nederlandse Paul \u00d6zg\u00fcr.<\/p>\n<p>Eerder dit jaar ging The Wound in premiere op Sundance en opende de Panorama Sectie van het Berlijn Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p>The Wound vertelt het verhaal van de jeugdige fabrieksarbeider Xolani (muzikant Nakhane Tour\u00e9), die naar het platteland terugkeert om zich met een stel andere tienerjongens ritueel te laten besnijden, maar vervolgens met de stadsbewoners in conflict komt.<\/p>\n<p>Eind januari weten we of The Wound genomineerd is voor een Oscar.
